Three-Week Film Program
An intensive hands-on production program shot on the Universal Studios backlot. Led to the creation of Greed, a silent short film written, directed, and edited by Xander at age 16.
One-Month Film Program
An immersive summer film program providing foundational training in cinematography, storytelling, and production craft.
High School Diploma
An online high school program that allowed the flexibility to pursue early hands-on film training alongside academic study.
Online Middle School
Online school program attended before transferring to Christa McAuliffe School of Arts and Sciences.
Experience
I shot Greed during my time in the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles when I was 16. It's a silent film that we shot on the Western Street set at the Universal Studios Backlot. The story follows a woman who was scammed out of a purchase, so she decides to come back and steal it for herself. I had a small crew of fellow students, and this film is written, directed, and edited by myself using Adobe Premiere. Years later and I'm still very proud of my crew and this project.
This is a comedy short film that I shot with my friends about a survivalist who's teaching the viewer how to survive, while clearly preparing and faking all aspects of the video behind the camera.
